The UK and France have inked a statement of purpose concerning the stationing of armed personnel in the nation in the event a ceasefire be made with Russia, the UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has announced.
After negotiations with Kyiv's partners in Paris, he indicated that the allies would "create defense centers across Ukraine and erect fortified facilities for military hardware and defense matériel" to deter any potential attack.
The coalition members also suggested that the America would take the lead in verifying a halt in hostilities.
Moscow has on multiple occasions warned that any non-Ukrainian military in Ukraine would be considered a "legitimate target", but has not yet issued a statement on this recent development.
Russian President Vladimir Putin began a major offensive of Ukraine in the start of last year, and Russia at this time occupies approximately 20% of Ukraine's sovereign soil.
"This constitutes a crucial element of our pledge to support Ukraine for the long-term," commented the British leader.

He indicated the coalition had "mostly completed" their work on finalizing such pledges "so that the Ukrainian people know that when this war ends, it ends permanently."

At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Ukraine's supporters had made "significant headway" at the talks.
He noted that "strong" security guarantees for the Ukrainian government had been settled upon in the instance of a prospective ceasefire.
Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky commented that a "major advance" had been made in the negotiations, but added that he would only deem efforts to be "enough" if they culminated in the end of the war.
Last week, Zelensky suggested a peace agreement was "mostly finalized". Agreeing on the last 10% would "decide the future of the peace, the destiny of Ukraine and Europe".
