The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.

The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The influential game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
